Advent 2021: Joy (week three)

Joy. Christmas is such a joyful time of year. The good news announced at Christmas changes everything and gives everyone a reason to rejoice. It may come after a time of long time of waiting (that’s what hope and preparation point us forward to!). It may be in the midst of hardship and sorrow. But this is why the joy of Christmas is so special. It reminds us that God always keeps his promises.

If God promises it . . . he will do it.

This week our memory verse is Romans 15:12-13, and we are singing Joy to the World.
